When we opened Curve Queen we had one dream — to create a store where a plus size woman never has to ask if her size exists. Because here it always does.
We're Sophie and Emily, two Kiwi women who know exactly what it feels like to reach for something beautiful and walk away empty handed. So we started choosing the pieces ourselves — from our little studio in Auckland, one dress at a time.

I was a little nervous ordering because sizing can be so hit or miss for me. I actually measured myself and followed the size chart, and I’m so glad I did. The fit was spot on — comfortable without being oversized, and I didn’t have to size up or exchange it.
I honestly expected the fabric to be thinner for the price, but I was pleasantly surprised. It feels soft and substantial, isn’t see-through at all, and still looks lovely after several wears and washes. It definitely doesn’t have that cheap online-shopping feel.
