It hangs open rather than doing up, so there is no button line stretched across your bust and nothing that parts when you turn to talk to someone. The fronts stay flat from the shoulder down.

The shoulder is dropped on purpose

The seam sits on your upper arm instead of the bone, which is what lets you take your usual size through the chest without the shoulder ending up mid-bicep. The sleeve stays wide to the cuff.

Hip length, curved hem

It ends at hip level with a curve at each side, so it does not ride up when you sit down and it does not cut a straight line across you.
