Buttons that lie flat

On a close-cut shirt dress, the fabric across a fuller bust pulls tight and little gaps open between the buttons. Here the top is cut loose from the shoulder, and the first gathered tier starts right under the bust. The fabric around the buttons has room, so there is no pull between them, sitting or standing.

Three tiers, room at every step

The skirt is made of three gathered tiers, each one a little wider than the one above. There is room through the stomach, hips and thighs, and the hem swings out instead of clinging when you walk.
